As a Talent Acquisition/Retention Specialist, your role is instrumental in both attracting exceptional talent and ensuring their continued engagement and growth within the company. You will lead initiatives to enhance our employer branding and promote DSD as a preferred workplace. This position is key to our commitment to maintaining a dynamic and fulfilling work environment, contributing significantly to both our immediate needs and long-term success.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition

    • Collaborate with team leads to assess staffing needs and develop hiring plans.

    • Source and manage candidates through proactive recruitment strategies.

    • Work closely with the chairmen, president, and team leads to align recruitment strategies with business goals.

  • Talent Retention

    • Foster a workplace environment that supports employee retention and advancement.

    • Facilitate and enhance communication and collaboration among team members and with upper management, addressing improvements, suggestions, and concerns.

  •  Company Promotion

    • Coordinate with marketing teams to enhance company branding and promote diversity and inclusion in hiring.

    • Plan and organize recruitment events, attending job seminars, and college career days to identify and attract new talent.

    • Maintain employee recognition, anniversary, workplace improvement, and company event planning.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field.

  • Proven ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage time and coordinate multiple activities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience in organizing events and understanding of effective branding and promotional activities.

  • Ability to use Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
     

Location: This position is based on-site at our headquarters in Southfield, Michigan.
