Registered Architects - Southfield

We are seeking a talented, creative, and experienced Registered Architects to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for exceptional architectural design with the ability to communicate that through spoken and visual formats. As a Registered Architects, you will apply your knowledge of design, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to design and manage projects from inception through the final stages of construction.

Applicants must have a master’s degree in architecture from an accredited college/university and be a registered architect in the State of Michigan. Minimum of 6 years registered experience is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • ​Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams. Familiar with BIM360, or equivalent. 

  • Familiar with point cloud software (e.g., Autodesk Recap).

  • Proficient with Revit model creation and the development of family content in accordance with company standards.

  • Must have the understanding and capability of reading existing construction documents, organizing/leading field checking activities and surveying existing buildings.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

  • Ability to visit existing and new project sites for observation, investigation, and evaluation purposes.

  • Self-Driven, Motivated, Enthusiastic.

  • Individuals who can contribute new ideas and open to self-improvement and assisting those around them. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Managing client relationships including working with clients to develop and determine project programming and planning requirements

  • Develop and present design concepts to clients.

  • Develop schematic and design documents in collaboration with other disciplines and client requirements.

  • Collaborate with the project teams for development of project documentation and various BIM deliverables to clients, to communicate the contract scope and design intent.

  • Carry out design tasks (e.g. site planning alternate studies, elevational studies, stairs, and toilet room layouts) and technical tasks (e.g. building sections, wall sections, and special details).

  • Lead the AutoCAD or Revit model coordination efforts between departments.

  • Collaborate and communicate across multi-discipline and multi-company/consultant project teams.

  • Develop Interior Design drawings, material selections, and documentation.

  • Review project submittals during project construction phase.

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to meet deadlines.

Minimum Education/Professional Licensing:

 

  • Master's degree in architecture from an accredited college/university.

  • Architecture License Registered in the state of Michigan.
