Responsibilities
-
Collaborate with the project teams for development of project documentation and various BIM deliverables to clients, to communicate the contract scope and design intent.

Responsible for project setup; must possess knowledge and ability to set-up project AutoCAD files and Revit model creation per client or office standards.

Proficient with Revit model creation and the development of family content in accordance with company standards.

Ability to leads the AutoCAD or Revit model coordination efforts between departments.

Collaborate and communicate across multi-discipline and multi-company/consultant project teams.

Assist project managers with model presentation and client meetings.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to meet deadlines.

Must have the understanding and capability of reading existing construction documents, organizing/leading field checking activities and surveying existing buildings.

Graphically produce existing building “as-builts” and develop architectural building backgrounds.

Accurately produce schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

Carry out design tasks (e.g. site planning alternate studies, elevational studies, stairs, and toilet room layouts) and technical tasks (e.g. building sections, wall sections, and special details).

Develop Interior Design drawings, material selections, and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams. Familiar with BIM360.

Familiar with point cloud software (e.g., Autodesk Recap).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Ability to spend most of an 8-hour day sitting, standing, and walking at the office.

Ability to visit existing and new project sites for observation, investigation, and evaluation purposes.

Ability to use equipment (3D scanners, cameras, etc.) for communication and documentation purposes.

Minimum Education/Professional Licensing

Master's Degree in Architecture / Engineering, Architectural Technology from an accredited college/university.

Registered Architect in the state of Michigan.
